The Regional Director of the Dutch Greenfield Cities in Jordan, Hedzer Roodenburg, announced on Monday the establishment of a project in the development zone of the Mafraq Governorate, which will create around 1,500 jobs within the next two years, according to Petra news agency.

During his visit to the King Hussein Bin Talal Development Area (KHBTDA) in Mafraq, Roodenburg attributed choosing Mafraq city for implementing the project due to its accessibility to the essential services for the project in the area.

As he was impressed by the services offered to facilitate implementing projects for investors, Roodenburg said that that would reflect positively on the investor and the community.

On his part, Mafraq's Governor, Hasan Al-Qayam, said that the city will work on providing support for investors to set up their investments and projects.

He added that they will also benefit the province’s residents by providing job opportunities to reduce poverty and unemployment.
