The Ministry of Health will soon inaugurate a new separate quarantine department at Prince Hamza Hospital in Amman and a military field hospital in Khaw area of Zarqa governorate.

In an exclusive statement to Roya, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Ministry, Dr. Adnan Ishaq said today that the department and hospital will be fully equipped to deal with any coronavirus case.

Ishaq reaffirmed that non-Jordanians coming from China, South Korea, Iran and Italy are banned from entering the Kingdom unless they departed their countries for a period not less than 14 days.

"No coronavirus cases are registered in Jordan," he confirmed.

He called on citizens to follow means of preventing the spread of the virus and get information only from official sources, represented by the Health Ministry.
