A Jordanian woman, quarantined at the Epidemic Diseases Center (Isolation Center) of Al -Bashir Hospital, complained about the services and health facilities in the quarantine rooms.

"Upon my arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, I was immediately taken to the Isolation Center to be quarantined for fear of coronavirus, as I was in Italy, where there is a number of corona cases," the woman said in a video that she published on social media.

She added that she would have "autism" during her stay in the room. "Bathrooms lack the lowest levels of hygiene," she said.

She mentioned that nurses at the hospital told her that an Iranian girl will stay with her in the same room.

She commented on the way food is provided to people quarantined.

The video shows that there is more than one person in each isolation room, however, each person should be quarantined alone.

In previous statements during a special interview on Roya's "Nabd Al Balad" program, the epidemiologist, Dr. Montaser Al-Balbisi explained that the Isolation Department does not have adequate safety measures to prevent coronavirus.

He pointed out that having more than one bed in the same isolation room is totally unhealthy, and each person must be isolated separately.

In turn, the former Head of the Doctor’s Syndicate, Dr. Ahmed Al-Armouti, commented that great steps forward are required to make the hospital a healthy place to quarantine people.

He said that people should be isolated separately, otherwise the virus would be transmitted from one person to another.
