No infections of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been recorded among around 5,000 people quarantined in the Dead Sea and Amman hotels, spokesman for the national committee for epidemics Nathir Obaidat announced today.

Obeidat exclusively told Roya that the general condition in the hotels is good and reassuring.

He called on citizens to adhere to the rules and regulations of quarantine, not to have direct contact with each other and stay at home.

So far, 56 coronavirus cases were reported in the Kingdom.

The infected are 42 Jordanians, three Iraqis, six French nationals, three British nationals, an Argentinian and a Filipina.
