Since the first phase of repatriating Jordanian citizens started, a total of 23 people have tested positive for coronavirus, among those quarantined at Amman hotels, the Director of the coronavirus Crisis Cell, Brig. Gen. Mazen Farrayah said this morning.

Farrayah added that the total number of cases among those quarantined at the Dead Sea hotels has reached 14, confirming that all of them have been evacuated.

Regarding the comprehensive curfew imposed in the Kingdom every Friday, Farrayah stressed that no decision has been taken yet to lift it and that the decision will be taken based on the epidemiological situation in the Kingdom.

He noted that the safelyhome.gov.jo platform, through which Jordanians stranded abroad can submit applications to return back home has been closed.
