The coronavirus outbreak in Jerusalem has taken a serious turn, after more than 100 cases a day were recorded for three consecutive days.

On Wednesday, 115 new cases were record over 24 hours.

During the past two weeks, the average case number per day had been 50, said the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

A statement issued by the government on Thursday, warned the COVID-19 status of the country was becoming more unstable following an increase to 1,104 since June.
