One death and 520 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced a further 520 coronavirus cases and one death had been recorded over 24 hours, on Wednesday.

In the last 24 hours, 211 new were recorded in Jerusalem, 250 in Hebron, 16 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, three in Tulkarem, 12 in Bethlehem, one in Salfit, nine in Jenin, seven in Nablus, four in Jericho and seven in Qalqilya.

A total of 74 patients have recovered; 30 in Bethlehem, 16 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, 15 in Jenin and 13 in Salfit.

Currently, 17 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and three are on ventilators.

The total number of active cases stands at 8,269, while 6,107 have recovered and 82 have died since the beginning of the crisis.
