Jordan has agreed to allow Palestinian medical students to enter the Kingdom via the Karameh Border Crossing on Sunday, to enrol in their studies, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced.

The students must adhere to all precautionary measures issued by the Jordanian authorities, such as staying in hotel quarantine for 14 days and home quarantine for seven days, the ministry added.

Students wishing to enter Jordan have to undergo the COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to their departure.

Students must also undergo a second test on arrival and third test two weeks after they entered the country. Both tests will cost a total of JD 110 and must be covered by the students themselves.

They will be also have to pay all hotel fees, the ministry said.

Hotel prices per night are between JD 30 and JD 50, with an additional 12% tax and 5% service fee. They must also pay JD 21 bus fee which will take them from the border to the hotels.
