Israeli occupation aircrafts bombed the southern Gaza strip after its Iron Dome system intercepted a missile fired towards settlements on the border of Gaza, said the Israeli occupation army on Sunday.

On Sunday night, sirens were activated by the incoming missile around 9pm, sending thousands of settlers to bomb shelters.

During the airstrike, the occupation naval forces opened fire at sea near Khan Yunis.
