Aman mobile application identified 10 new coronavirus cases in Jordan, including five cases on Sunday, said the Ministry of health on Monday.

The Ministry reiterated the need for all Jordanians to download the application for its effective role in tracking positive cases and preventing the spread of COVID-19.

A number of citizens contacted the ministry on Monday morning to seek guidance after receiving alerts through the safety application over the past few days.

Aman utilises technology to support health investigations, help get the pandemic under control, and identify hot spots.

The key to the application's success lies in its ability to notify those who come into contact with positive cases to get tested quickly to prevent further infections, while maintaining user privacy.
