The weekly 24-hour lockdown will start at 1 AM this Friday and end at 1 AM on Saturday, said the Minister of State for Media Affairs Ali Al-Ayed Wednesday.

The end of the 24-hour lockdown will be followed by the overnight curfew until 6AM on Saturday .

As for the following weeks, the weekly lockdown will start on 11 PM on Thursday until 11 PM on Friday, followed by the overnight curfew untill 6 AM on Saturday.

The Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh had announced on Tuesday the implementation of a weekly 24-hour lockdown every Friday until the end of the year.
