Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh has warned of unprecedented dangerous developments in the Israeli Occupation's feat to impose colonial settlements in Palestinian land.

"It seems that there is a plan for an escalated and intense attack during the next 10 weeks, in a [battle] against time to impose a new status quo before Donald Trump leaves the White House," Shtayyeh said in a speech in a Palestinian cabinet session Monday.

In a separate context, Shtayyeh called on the Red Cross and the United Nations to work on releasing the body of the martyr Kamal Abu Waer, and all the bodies of the martyrs detained by the Israeli Occupation.

In addition, Shtayyeh stressed that the government is monitoring COVID-19 developments, and it is ready for any measures that it may be forced to take due to high rates of infections.
