Tuesday, the Supervisory and Security Committee in Karak detained three coronavirus patients for non-compliance with home quarantine measures.

The Governor of Karak Bilal al-Nsour said inspection teams continue to conduct visits to follow up with patients in home quarantine to ensure compliance with self-isolation measures.

He pointed out that, based on instructions issued by the Ministry of Interior, people who have been detained will be transported to a field hospital where they will complete the remainder of their quarantine period at their own expense. After the quarantine period is over, the necessary legal action to be taken against them. The aim is to prevent further spreading of the virus and protect citizens, he added
