'We seek to graduate young people who will support their countries with innovation': Abu Ghazaleh

Wednesday, the President and Founder of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, said that the institution is a national Arab project that seeks to graduate young people who are able to support their homelands with inventions and innovations that contribute to supporting the digital transformation that the world is witnessing.

The university college offers MBA programs with concentrations in international accounting, management and quality management. It also offers three undergraduate programs in international accounting, management and logistics.

According to a press release, Abu Ghazaleh renewed his full support for the strategic plans implemented by the university college, stressing the need to continue to adhere to the developments issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and the Accreditation Authority.

For his part, the Dean of the College, Nasser Al-Nsour, said that the number of students who signed up for the second semester of the academic year 2021 increased by 40 percent.

Additionally, Nsour noted that the university college continues to offer 75 percent discounts to refugee students, 60 percent discounts for students who obtained great or excellent grades during their undergraduate studies, and 50 percent discount for students with very good or good grades during their undergraduate studies.

He pointed out that the institution has started the procedures for institutional inclusion of the college in the National Qualifications Framework, in accordance to the policies of the Higher Education Accreditation Authority.

The university college has also started implementing a plan to integrate e-learning into traditional in-person education to gain access to fully digitally taught materials and programs.

It is also working on developing new master's programs in the fields of accounting, finance, digital marketing, innovation, and supply chain management in cooperation with Erasmus, a Higher Education exchange program for students, teachers and institutions, run in the UK by the British Council.

Work is also underway to obtain the American accreditation in parallel to the European accreditation.
