Sunday, the Ministry of Education (MoE) announced that it began vaccinating teachers working in public and private schools with the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

According to the MoE, a total of 100,000 out of 160,000 of the educational and administrative staff of the MoE received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

Notably, the Ministry of Education began a campaign to vaccinate teachers against the coronavirus on May 4.

This came in preparation for the safe return to schools at the beginning of the next academic year.
