Thursday, gold prices in the Kingdom’s local markets dropped, according to the Jordanian Jewellers Syndicate (JJS).

The selling price for 21-carat gold is JD 36.30 per gram, while the purchase price is JD 34.80.

The selling price of gold per gram for 24-carat and 18-carat dropped to JD 43.00 and JD 32.50 respectively, while the purchase price stood at JD 40.00 and JD 29.5 respectively.

There are approximately 850 jewellers across Jordan worth at least JD 5 billion.
