Sunday, the Minister of Education, Muhammad Abu Qdais, said during a meeting that the ministry monitors all observations related to Tawjihi exams.

He stressed that it is not possible to determine the difficulty of any exam before reviewing the preliminary results.

Abu Qdais said that it is not acceptable for the majority of students to get high marks.

He stressed that the ministry has taken into consideration the circumstances the students went through during the coronavirus pandemic, but the questions must take into account the students' differences.

Regarding the physics exam, Abu Qdais said that the exam results were close to the results of previous years, with the exception of last year.

He indicated that he met with nine experts specialized in physics, as they reviewed the students' answers, and the results showed that 35 percent of students answered the most difficult questions.

He indicated that the ministry is considering establishing a national examination center.

Abu Qdais announced that the time specified for the mathematics exam will be increased to five hours, at a rate of two and a half hours for each paper.

He stressed that the mathematics exam will not be difficult.
