“Hi Israeli [Occupation], this is Billie Eilish, and I’m so excited that my new album, ‘Happier Than Ever,’ is out now,” she said in a video posted on her TikTok account.

The video she posted was one of several that Eilish posted to her fans in different countries.

Palestinian social media users criticized Eilish for recognizing the Israeli Occupation as a state.

Others used the opportunity to criticize the Israeli Occupation policy toward the Palestinians.

“Happier Than Ever,” Eilish’s second album, was one of the most anticipated pop releases of 2021.
