Sunday, the Asra Media Office announced that the Palestinian women prisoners inside the Israeli Occupation prisons have finally been allowed to call their families.

The office said: "After an act of protest by not going out to the outside yard for three days, the Palestinian female prisoners have been granted their right to a phone call to their families."

Earlier on Sunday morning, the occupation forces returned dozens of families of prisoners in the Negev and Ofer prisons, claiming that they had not received the third dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

The Palestinian Society Prisoner's Club reported that the families, many of whom are vaccinated, have had stun grenades fired at them after a checkpoint west of Ramallah forced them off of the Red Cross buses that were carrying them.

The Club pointed out that the Israeli Occupation has used the pandemic to further complicate and impose further restrictions on visitations.
