Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani said Wednesday that the consultations between the US and Iran are continuing through the mediation of the European Union.

This came during a press conference in the capital Tehran.

Nasser Kanani, Iran's foreign ministry spokesman said, “Negotiations are going on as before through the exchange of messages, both at the level of Iran's foreign minister and Mr. Borrell (EU foreign policy chief), and at the level of Iran's chief negotiator Mr. Bagheri and Mr. Mora (EU coordinator of the talks).”

“The way we will continue the talks and the location of the negotiations are being discussed between the sides through third-party messages. I think the time and the location of the negotiations will be determined soon,” he added.
