Tuesday, a drug dealer was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) in Zarqa, according to the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD).

After authorities identified his whereabouts, the dealer, along with two other individuals, was arrested and different narcotic substances were seized.

After searching the place, AND officers found 40,000 narcotic pills, 12 slabs of hashish, 5kg of marijuana, and a firearm.

Additionally, 10,000 narcotic pills prepared for smuggling outside the Kingdom were seized.

The arrested were referred to the State Security Court's public prosecutor.
