A nine-year-old girl died on Monday of a brain hemorrhage after she was hit on the head by her teacher at a school in Dakahlia in Egypt a few days ago.

The Egyptian authorities had received a report stating that a student had suffered a severe brain hemorrhage after a teacher hit her on the head with a wooden stick. The teacher was later arrested.

The other students confirmed that the teacher was always violent with them and on that day, which was the first school day for the year 2022/2023, hit the student on the head after she made a spelling mistake writing on the blackboard

The students added that she became unconscious after the blow and two other teachers took her home but her family was the one who took her to the hospital.
