Israeli Occupation Forces forced a Palestinian to demolish a part of his house in Jerusalem, the Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, reported Saturday.

The agency, quoting Azzam Abu Asab, the owner of the house, said that Israeli Occupation authorities forced him to demolish a part of his house, where 10 people live under the pretext that it was built without a permit.

He said that the occupation authorities gave him ten days to demolish this part of the house, or else he would have to pay a fine of 30,000 shekels.

On Friday, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) forced a Palestinian man to demolish his house in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

Eyad Al-Imam was forced to demolish 130 square meters of his home which houses a total of eight people, in the Al-Tur neighborhood, east of Jerusalem.

The Israeli Occupation authorities demolished around 300 buildings in the West Bank and Jerusalem in 2022, according to a biannual report issued by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA).
