Twenty-seven students were injured after a private university bus collided with a train in the Egyptian governorate of Sharkia, on Wednesday morning, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Health.

Local media reported that 25 ambulances were immediately dispatched to transport the injured to hospitals

The Health Ministry issued a statement saying that an investigation is currently underway.

No deaths were reported.
