Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo has denied joining the Saudi club Al-Nassr after multiple reports said that he will sign with the club after the World Cup.

"No, it's not true," he told reporters on Tuesday when asked whether the rumors were true or not.

This came after English and Spanish reports on Monday confirmed that Ronaldo has reached an agreement with the Saudi club Al-Nassr to join their team early next year and that it came following extensive negotiations.

The reports said that the player will receive an annual salary of up to 200 million euros per season, provided that it extends for two and a half seasons.

Ronaldo had recently announced the termination of his contract with Manchester United, after clashes with the English club and Dutch coach Erik Ten Hag.
