The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) published pictures of the remaining new banknotes of the fifth issue of the currency (JD 5, JD 10, JD 20, and JD 50).

The CBJ said that these banknotes are yet to be made available and an announcement will be made prior to each release.

On Dec. 26, 2022, the CBJ announced that a JD 1 banknote that contains enhanced security features was designed.

This issue is the first in 20 years. It also includes upgraded, durable paper quality as well as the industry's most cutting-edge security features.
