A total of 1,412 vehicles registered with ride-hailing mobile applications between April and September of 2022 in Jordan, according to figures from the Land Transport Regulatory Authority Friday.
The total number of vehicles that were operating through these applications were 9,191 in April, then in September the number reached a total of 10,603.
Notably, there was a drop in the number of registered vehicles in the first four months of last year, as the total number of cars registered in January 2022 was 10,330.
Then in February, the number dropped to 9,481 and again in March to 9,269.
The number continued to decline in April, reaching 9,191.
The number started increasing in May to reach 9,279, then increased again in June reaching 9,568.
In July, the number reached 9,774 and then increased further in August to a total of 10,189.
