The Directorate of Social Development in Zarqa removed unauthorized tents Tuesday.

The directorate's head, Ali Abdel Hafez, told Petra News that the people living in those tents were begging for money in the streets near those areas.

He added that what they are doing is causing "disturbance and confusion" to the citizens and passersby in the area.

The action was taken following the directives of the Governor of Zarqa, Hassan Al-Jbour, and in partnership with different security, municipal and public works agencies.
