Amman witnessed an increase in dust levels on Friday that affected horizontal visibility especially in the eastern regions of the Jordanian capital.
ArabiaWeather website reported that Amman is expected to witness a state of very dusty weather starting from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
The website also warned that the significant increase in dust levels in the atmosphere might affect patients with respiratory and eye problems.
Additionally, the country started to be affected by a new air depression, which led to a noticeable activity on the speed of the southeast winds, which raises dust and dirt, as the dust concentration is rising now as a result of the advance of a dust wave, especially towards the central regions, including the capital, Amman, with a decrease in the horizontal visibility.
In the upcoming hours, it is expected that Jordan will remain affected by moderate southeasterly winds that are sometimes active and accompanied by strong gusts that raise dust.
