Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the response to the Jerusalem shooting operation will be "immediate."

Netanyahu added, in statements made while at the site of the operation, that his government decided to carry out several immediate raids, calling on settlers not to take matters into their own hands.

Eight settlers were killed, and an unknown number of others were injured, on Friday, in a shooting attack in the Nabi Yaqoub settlement in occupied Jerusalem, according to Roya's correspondent.

The incident comes a day after 10 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in Jenin.
