Rain is expected to fall over Jordan as the country will be affected by an air depression Tuesday, according to ArabiaWeather website.

The website added that Jordan has witnessed, since the start of winter, an almost complete absence of the “main or important meteorological events,” in light of a severe shortage in the amounts of precipitation, especially in the northern and agricultural regions of the Kingdom.

The Kingdom will be affected, during the late night hours of Monday night until Tuesday night, by an air depression associated with a cold air mass that brings precipitation at intervals, which may be heavy at times and accompanied by showers of hail, especially in the northern and central regions.

ArabiaWeather added that the expected amounts of rain in the northern and central western regions will range from 20 to 40 mm of rain, thus making it a good boost for the rainy season in light of the severe shortage in the amounts of precipitation in those areas.
