Highway Patrol Department of the Public Security Directorate reported Tuesday night that snow started falling in the Ras Al-Naqab area of Ma’an Governorate, in southern Jordan.

The department added that the road is clear, but emphasized the need to exercise caution.

Notably, Jordan is affected by a cold air depression that carries large amounts of rain, with snow falling in some areas with high elevations.
