Thursday, Israeli Occupation settlers vandalized a church in the occupied Old City of Jerusalem, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The Governorate said in a press statement that three Israeli Occupation settlers stormed the Church of Condemnation, located at the Second Station of the Via Dolorosa, smashed a statue and attempted to set the church on fire.

The guard employed by the church quickly stopped them before they could inflict further damage to the site.

This incident is the latest in a string of attacks perpetrated over the last few months against Christians and their property in Jerusalem.

Last Thursday, settlers attacked an Armenian restaurant at the New Gate in the Christian Quarter of Jerusalem.
