Thursday, Roya Media Group (RMG) held a party to celebrate its 12th anniversary, which was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Sayegh Group, Michael Al-Sayegh, RMG's Chief Executive Officer, Fares Al-Sayegh, as well as Roya’s employees.

The ceremony, which was held in Amman, was also attended by RMG’s employees in Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Iraq and UAE.

Michael Al-Sayegh expressed his pride in what RMG has achieved thanks to the efforts of its employees and their continuous keenness to succeed and excel.

Fares Al-Sayegh spoke about Roya’s journey, which began 12 years ago, and how it aimed to introduce a new concept in media and cater to the needs of viewers and social media pioneers.

He also shared Roya’s achievements over the years including the regional expansion and development to keep up with the latest advancements, on TV and social media platforms.

Honorary plaques were awarded to Roya’s partners: Jordan Media City represented by its CEO Radhi Alkhas, Arabia Weather represented by its CEO, Mohammad Al-Shaker and the "Fouq Al-Sada" team.

Additionally, former employees, who worked at Roya since it was established and spent years helping it grow, were also awarded honorary plaques.

The team also celebrated their greatest achievements on digital platforms during 2022. The teams that received honorary plaques were Roya News, Donya Ya Donya, Helwa Ya Donya, Caravan, Roya Kitchen, Extra Time, Roya Podcast, Roya Drama and Roya Kids.
