Tuesday, the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) rescued six people who were trapped in a basement by floods in Irbid.

The media spokesperson at the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that CDD rescue and ambulance teams rescued six individuals who were stuck in a basement, used for storing cleaning supplies, after a wall collapsed letting the water in.

The teams trensferred the individuals to a safe area, where ambulance teams provided them with the necessary first aid.

All six individuals are in stable health condition.
