Four-year-old twins, Rashad and Nouf Al-Maghaira, died of suffocation in a house fire in Irbid Friday.

Jordanians took to social media to express their condolences and heartbreak after the news broke out.

Incidents of suffocation due to the misuse of heaters are still a regular occurrence in the Kingdom.

The Civil Defense Directorate continues to advise citizens to check their heaters regularly and only use them in well-ventilated rooms.
