Wednesday, Palestinians in the occupied West Bank held a general strike in protest against the Israeli Occuation Forces' (IOF) assault on Jenin Tuesday and the killing of six Palestinians.

Shops were shut dows and public transportation came to a halt following a call by the Palestinian political parties to hold a general strike.

Thousands took part in the funerals of the six Palestinians killed in Jenin.
