Wednesday, firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire on the Irbid-Amman Road.

According to the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD), the Highway Patrol Department received a call saying that the trunk of a vehicle caught fire.

The CDD told Amen FM Thursday that a rescue team was immediately dispatched to the location as soon as the department was notified.

The team successfully put out the fire and prevented it from spreading further.

No injuries were reported.
