Thursday, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained eight Palestinians across the West Bank, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

According to local and security sources, the IOF raided the town of Jaba in Jenin and detained one Palestinian.

The armed IOF soldiers detained two others in raids in Silat al-Harithiya village and al-Yamun town.

In Nablus, the IOF stormed the town of Sebastia and detained one person.

A similar raid in Beita town was conducted, during which they detained one more Palestinian.

In the southern West Bank, three others were detained in Hebron city.

Wednesday evening, the IOF seized a former prisoner’s vehicle in Jerusalem for the second time.

IOF soldiers manning a checkpoint close to ‘Arraba town in Jenin, stopped a vehicle and detained two cousins, one of whom was identified as a member of the Fatah-affiliated student bloc in the Arab American University.

According to the latest figures from Addameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support, and Human Rights Association, there are currently 4,780 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centers, including 160 children and 29 female prisoners.
