Four died in a fire that broke out inside an apartment Tuesday in the Al-Nuzha area in the capital, Amman.

The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that four people were killed in a fire due to severe burns they sustained.

He added that the firefighting teams worked to put out the fire, while the ambulance teams evacuated the dead to Prince Hamzah Governmental Hospital.

Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the fire, the spokesperson added.
