Dam storage levels increase to 40.66 percent, says Water Ministry

Storage levels in Jordan's dams increased Wednesday morning, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation announced.

The levels reached 114.14 million cubic meters (40.66 percent) of their total storage capacity of 280.7 million cubic meters.

Here is the storage levels in 13 dams in Jordan in comparison to total dam capacity:

- Al-Wahda Dam: 14.3 million m3 (13.5 percent)

- Wadi Al-Arab Dam: 8.2 million m3 (49.3 percent)

- Zeqlab Dam: 1.516 million m3 (38.2 percent)

- Kafranja Dam: 2.48 million m3 by (32 percent)

- King Talal Dam: 45.8 million m3 (68.4 percent)

- Wadi Shuaib Dam: 1,254 million m3 (100 percent)

- Kafreen Dam: 5,252 million m3 (62 percent)

- Zarqa Ma’in Dam: 533 thousand m3 (26.6 percent)

- Al-Wala Dam: 7.1 million m3 (28.6 percent)

- Al-Mujib Dam: 22.3 million m3 (90.4 percent)

- Al-Tanour Dam: 4.6 million m3 (32 percent)

- Al-Lujun Dam: 176,600 m3 (17.6 percent)

- Al-Karak Dam: 161,000 m3 (eight percent).
