Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that it is following up on the case involving the murder of a Jordanian student Hamza Abu Halawa in the United States.

An official source told Roya Thursday that it was informed of the incident by the young man's family.

The ministry is currently working on procedures regarding transporting the body.

The US authorities are investigating the incident.

According to US media reports, the 32-year-old was driving his car, with one other person in the vehicle with him, when two people opened fire at them.
