A 31-year-old man was stabbed to death Saturday evening in western Germany, police said.

Officials shut down a large funfair in Münster after the victim and another man fought.

During the fight, the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife. The victim died on the scene.

The two men did not know each other, police said.

Search operations for the suspect and another man who was with him when the fight occurred are still ongoing.
