On Mother’s Day, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) are holding five Palestinian mothers in prison for resisting the Occupation, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

The women were identified as Isra Jaabis, Fadwa Hamadeh, Amani al-Hashim, Itaf Jaradat and Yasmin Shaaban.

These mothers are serving different prison sentences, the longest of which is 11 years for Jaabis, followed by 10 years for Hamadeh and Hashim.
