Wednesday, one person was injured in a furniture store fire on Petra Street in Irbid.

According to Roya's reporter, the person was hospitalized after suffering from breathing difficulties due to the fire.

Firefighters were immediately dispatched to the location in east Irbid, successfully extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading to neighboring stores, he added.

Investigations are underway.
