Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested two Palestinians in the town of Al-Ram, near Jerusalem, Roya's correspondent said Thursday.

The correspondent added that the IOF surrounded the house before arresting the two young men.

Earlier Thursday, the commander of the Tulkarem Battalion Amir Abu Khadija (25) was killed in Izbat Shufa in the governorate.

Roya's correspondent said the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) raided the village and surrounded Abu Khadija's home, which led to armed clashes before he was killed.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Abu Khadija was transported to the Thabet Hospital after getting shot in the head, where he was later pronounced dead.
