Wednesday, the Israeli Occupation police called on settlers to carry weapons following the recent developments in Jerusalem and on the occasion of the Jewish Passover.

According to Hebrew media, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) deployed nearly 7,500 policemen, border guards and volunteers throughout the Israeli Occupation, especially around Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Buraq Wall in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

They also closed the border crossings near the West Bank and Gaza Strip to prevent Palestinians from entering.

This came after the IOF attacked worshipes with batons and assaulted them with tear and pepper gas inside the Qibli prayer hall in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The aim was to force worshipers to leave the mosque, in order to allow settlers to enter smoothly.
