For the third consecutive day, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continue to tighten restrictions imposed on Palestinians passing through the northern Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The IOF closed off the Hamra military checkpoint on the road that connects Jenin, Tubas and Nablus with Jericho, preventing Palestinians from passing through.

A curfew has also been imposed on the village of Furusf Beit Dajan, preventing Palestinians from moving in and out of the village.

Restrictions were also tightened at the Tayasir military checkpoint in the Jordan Valley, resulting in traffic jams and delays as the IOF conducts inspections.

The IOF positioned earth mounds and heavy concrete cubes on several roads leading to the north-south route 90 as well as the road connecting the villages of Khirbet Ibzeeq and Bardala in the Jordan Valley.
