Tuesday, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) called on citizens and residents to beware of calls from unknown international numbers.

In a tweet, the TRC advised the people of Jordan not to call back unknown international numbers, that intentionally leave missed calls.

The commission explained that calling back could cost people huge sums of money, which will be deducted from their balance.

He stressed that the main aim behind these calls is harm and fraud.
