A woman, 26, was rescued after being stabbed multiple times by her husband in Salt.

The stabbing incident came after she had a fight with her husband who no longer wanted to go out with her after having agreed on running an errand together.

A source said that the wife got angry as this was not the first time he had done something similar which resulted in a fight breaking out between the two.

The source added that the woman would regularly suffer domestic abuse but would stay with her husband for the sake of their four children.

During the aforementioned fight, the victim called her brothers saying: “I cannot take this anymore, please come get me.”

Her brothers rushed over to her but her husband tried to stop them saying: “My wife will only go out with the police.”

The accused also attempted to stab one of the brothers but failed to do so, however, he managed to stab his wife several times before her brother rushed her to the hospital and the police were contacted.

The victim’s brothers were later arrested by the police after the accused and his father alleged they were attacked by the brothers.
